Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of any data the PolyglotMedia application holds about a platform account, as accessed through the APIs of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

1. Why this page exists

PolyglotMedia is internal software: it runs on the operator's own machine and connects only to social accounts owned and administered by Kinn Media itself. There are no external users or third-party accounts authorising this application — see Company and Privacy Policy for the full description of scope. This page is provided so the deletion process is documented and reachable, in line with platform policy.

2. What is stored

For each connected account, the application stores an account identifier and a long-lived credential (encrypted with AES-256) used to publish on that account's behalf — see Security for the complete list. No data belonging to end users of the social platforms (followers, commenters, viewers) is ever collected or stored.

3. How to request deletion

Send an email to contato.kinnmedia@gmail.com identifying the platform and the account (e.g. the Page name or channel handle). All stored data for that account — the account identifier and the encrypted credential — is removed from the local database. There is no automated self-service flow; every request is handled manually and confirmed by reply email, typically within a few business days.

The same result can also be reached without contacting us: removing the channel from inside the PolyglotMedia panel, or revoking the app's authorisation directly from the platform's own connected-apps settings, deletes or invalidates the stored credential immediately.

4. What deletion does not affect

Deleting the stored credential does not delete videos already published to the platform, nor any record the platform itself keeps of past activity — those are governed by the platform's own policies, not by PolyglotMedia.
